The Standard Iwama Bokken has a more moderate curvature than our standard bokken and a heavier thicker build. This solid sturdy bokken is not used with a tsuba and does not have a clear transition between the tsuka and blade. Hand spacing for the practitioner is very flexable as the hilt extends to between 11" and 12" before becoming a clearly defined blade.
