Wooden Steel is a group of artisans and martial artists dedicated to the art of designing, manufacturing, and customizing martial arts weapons.

In the spirit of the ancient masters, we believe the relationship between a person and their weapon is forged through a unique personal experience. From the selection of the materials through the wide variety of custom options, our customers build that relationship based on personal factors that resonate within themselves. Our goal is to create unique, high quality pieces that are essential to any serious martial artist.

In addition to our custom work, we carry an extensive collection of the finest martial arts supplies, swords, and knives available. This combination of custom weapons, customization of standard weapons, and complete lines of martial arts supplies and equipment make Wooden Steel a unique one stop shop for all the needs of any serious martial artist.

New Arrivals: Our newest line of Martial Arts weapons is a line of handforged Iaito swords. These Blades are meant to provide an economical means of entry into the traditional Japanese sword martial arts by focusing on the fundamental requirements of a functional cutting katana.

We will be adding to this line of Iaito blades and the line will includ Carbon Steel unsharpened Iaitos in both Katana and Wakizashi length as well as other sharpened Katana and Wakizashi.

We will also be adding a line of Japanese white oak products, Hakama, uniform items, and more for Aiki and Iaido practitioners.
